• '; • - -—4 The fact is standing out sti onger j each day that the big man in Indiana is Governor Hanly. His detractors had their day for a time, but the voice of the people has drowned out the voice of the di? ttrrbers. Honesty in public office is what the people want—Starke County Republican. Laws are worthless unless executed. The people of Indiana elected Governor Hanly to enforce the laws they drafted and up to the present time those who believe in the just enforcement of the law have no gi od reason to complain. No matter who occupies the Governor’s chair the anvil chovus will be found busy woiking overtime. Governor Hanly could not be expected to satisfy even body so he probably accepted the adviceShakespeare made one of his creations say to be true to himself and he would not be false to any ot e.
