Bloomington School Troubles Patched Up

Bloomington, lud.. April 3. The Bloomington city school fight was practically settled today when the board of trustees at a special meeting decided to rescind its recent action, accepting the resignations of the nine high school teachers. The only condition imposed upon the teachers by the resolution adopted by the board is that the teachers themselves shall make application for leinstatement In a resolution adopted by the board it denies the existence of personal enmity, acknowledges the difficulty experienced in attempting to hire new teachers and in every way accede to the demands made by the citizens’ committee. By its action the board places upon the teachers all of the responsibility for the further suspension of the high [school. Several of the teachers have left the city, but as none of them have made new contracts elsewhere, it is very probabe that before the end of the week they will have been formally reinstated. In this event work at the high school will be resumed next Monday.
