State To Buy More Land.

The real essate owned by the stite at Jeffersonville may be increased soon by the condemnation and purchase of all the land east of the Indiana Reformatory buildings up to tho west line of Jeffersonville. This will sweep away about forty or fifty small houses whose nearness to the institution is not desirable from the viewpoint of the manage ment. It will also close a street that passes thru the property, and the land taken will be added to the farm that lies back of the institution.
