Auto Owners Must Dig Again.

All the owners of automobiles in Rensselaer along with those of In diana in general will have to put up another dollartoward the support ts the State under the new automobile law passed by the last Geneial Assembly. This law will become effective with the publication of the acts, abiut the middle of April. At first it was not understood that the new law would require every automobile owner to register his machine again. It was supposel to be amendatory to the present I aw, and the general sentiment was that new registration would nqt be necessary under the new law shows the contrary to be the real situation and the office of the Secretary of State is getting ready to deal out new numbers to automobile owners. The law provides for a differ nt series of numbers. Each machine will have to be renumbered, there fore, and reregistered with the Secretary oi State. The registration fee is sl, as before. The new numbers must be white, against a black background, four inches high. The numbers are to be placed b >th on the front and the back of the machine.
