School Experiment Ends.

The Bluffton school board has decided, after a trial of three years, to keep the Bluffton schools open only nine months of the year, instead of twelve months. Three years ago the plan of keeping the schools open the entire year was adopted. Students could elect nine of the twelve months they wished to go to school and could take a vacation of three months any time of the year. The plan was found unsatisfactory on account oi the expense of maintaining teachers during the summer, when few students go to school.
