Did Not Say Steel Stole.

The town marshal of Thorntown slipped into town Wednesday afternoon, and by the help of Marshal Parks, soon located and arrested a young fellpw named Frank Steel, .who is wanted at Thorntown on a paternity charge. Steel is a scion of some of the Barkley Steel families and has been working for some time as assistant to Leu Griggs in uis work as fireman at the court house heating plant, and as janitor of the K. of P. building and he was In the basement of that structure when arrested. He is about 22 years old, while the girl in the case is said to be only 16 years old. She is said to be a fine girl belonging to nice people, but how a man of Steel’s build and attraction came to win the affections of a girl of that description is an unanswered problem. The Thorntown official lost no time in getting out of town with his prisoner.
