A Wreck Monday Morning.
Monday morning’s Monon paper train south was about four hours late. The cause was a wreck on the Western Indiana tracks some distance beyond Hammond, where one ot the night south bound Monon trains ran into a Wabash train on a crossing. The Wabash Train was standing still and the Monon was not going very last, but with sufficient speed to overturn the Wabash car, which was a Pullman sleeper. Some ten or 12 passengers on this car, were more or | less severely injured and one of whom, John Ollnger, of Toledo, Ohio, may died, and another, C. W. Thomas, of the same city, has internal injuries which are considered serious. The overturned car took fire and was total burned, but all the passenger were rescued from it. The Monon traia seems not to have suffered much damage.
