Oil Move Scares Whiling.

Whiting, the Staudard Oil western headquarters, is said to be much exercised over a report that the oil monopoly intends to transfer the .bulk of its western business to Cairo, Ilk It was reported Satur day at Whiting appropriation had been made by the company for the installation of a big refinery at Cairo. This plant, ao cording to reports, will employ 1,000 men and will supply the south and southwest leaving to the Whiting refinery the trade of the north and northwest. At present the population of Whiting includes 4,400 employes of the Standard Oil company and their families. According to reports the Whiting working force will be decreased by at least ?,000. ,
