Death of Squire Wiseman.

James Wiseman Sr., better know as Squire Wiseman, died Tuesday, at his home in the north part of Union township, of Bright’s disease of the kidneys. His sickness began in December. He was born in Wabash county, was about 80 j ears old and had lived in that vicinity |for about 25 years. He leaves a larjge family Of grown sons. He long held the office of justice of the peace, whence came his title of Squire. f His funeral was held at his residence on Thursday forenoon, at mine o’clock, by Rev. G. H. Clarke, pa-tor of the Rensselaer Christain church, after which he was taken t) North Star cemetery, in Newton ounty, north of Mt Ayr, for burial by the side of his wile who died en or more years ago.
