Barris Proved To Be A Faker.

Bedford, Ind., Jan. 3.—Prosecutor Fletcher, of Lawrence jjpounty, has finally decided that there is nothing in the confession made by I Gehtge W. Harris alias ‘Berger in which he confessed at Goshen that he was the slayer of Miss Sarah Schafer, the Latin teacher of this city on Jiu. 21, 1904. Harris will uow be sent to the state penitentiary to serve a sentence of two to fourteen years on another charge. The grand jury was to meet here tomorrow to take up the matter ot I returning an indictment against Harris, but Prosecutor Fletcher | tonight notified all the members not to come. According to Prosecutor Fletcher it ha* been post lively determined that Harris was 3 nthe DUitr state penitentiary on the date that the Schafer murder took-place. ...■-.
