Remonstrance Fight.

The temperance forces at Francesville are making a big fight to rid that town of its three saloons. For a number of days remonstrances Lave lieen quietly circulated and the leaders in the fight against the liquor element uow claim that they already have enough signers altho their territory has not all l>een canvassed. Super intendent Schumaker of South Bend of the Anti-Saloon League, is direct ing the fight. It is . not known when the remonstrance will be filed. The licensed oue saloon expires in February, another iu September and the third iu December.—Win amac Republican.
