Occupations of Indiana Legislators.
There will be plenty of legal talent in the two branches of the Indiana legislature, which convenes Jan. 10, for a sixty days’ session. The senate will have twenty-two lawyers and the house will have twenty-eight. The personnel of the house is in teresting from the fact that many occupations are represented. The list of house members show one brewer. Next to the lawyers the farmers predominate in the lower branch. The house has seventeen farmers and the senate has four. There is one mimister among the house members This is the Rev. Oliver Carmichael, of Muncie, who has for years represented Delaware county in the general assembly. - The house has three editors and the senate has two.
