Seven inches of snow had falleir the previous Monday, and sleighing had been good ever since. Professor Norman Warner had just organized a singing class at the Christian (Broad Gage) church. Dr. J. H. Lougbridge, Lawyer Tom Spitler, and Editor H. E. Dr. J. W. Laßae was to deliver the next Sunday’s Spiritualist lecture on the subject “What and where is God.” The Doctor’s address did not settle those great questions so decisively but what they are still discussed occasionally to this day.
