A Chicago ntan visited Kobe, Japan, In the course of his travels and found that he had been robbed overnight of al) his money and baggage. The theft occurred from his room in a hotel. The Chicago man reported the loss to the chief of police at Kobe. Within twen-ty-four hours his lost property was restored, the thief captured, and in less than ten days the culprit was in the penitentiary. The Chicago man relates this lnciderit as the most unique thing that happened to him on his travels. It was unique. It was particularly unique for a Chicago man.
