The Knights ot Pythias will give their ’Fourth Annual Festival in Oakland Park on Thursday, Sept 27th Lowell, Ind. Systematic, thoro and expensive preparations are being made to make the occasion entertaining and memorable-surpassing former ones. An orator of fame will address the people on Pythianism. Band concerts will entertain. Pavilions for dancing, for refreshmentsand other necessary purposes are on the grounds, and other conveniences are being arranged for the day and evening. —— There will be acrobati c performances, foot ball, base ball and basket ball games, and other interesting contests. Refreshments booths will be conveniently situated. A mammoth industrial parade in which will appear the Festival Queen, will begin the program at 10:30 a. m. In the evening a spectacular entertainment by experts, a firemen’s exhibition in an actual conflagration, and an orchestra for the pavilion floor will constitute the chief attractions. A large crowd is expected. Come and spend at least a part or the day in rhe celebration. I handle stoves that please, stoves give universal satisfaction, both in heaters and cooks. E. D. Rhoades.
