Artillery Line of March.

The Tenth battery of field artillery which left Fort Harrison, Indianapolis, Friday, enroute to Michigan City for target practice, spent Sunday at Tipton. From there they proceeded to Kokoma on Monday and |hence to Anoka, a distance of twenty-three miles. From Anoka to Star City is twentysix miles and that is the march for Wednesday, and is the longest single day’s march. On both Thursday and Friday they will march twenty-five miles, making Knox and then LaPorte. On Saturday they will reach Michigan City and on Monday range work will begin. The shooting will be witnessed by English, German and Japanese representatives, who respect American artillery above any other branch of our military service. There is T practically no walking in the artillery service, the men riding on the cannon carriages.
