GEORGE FERGUSON.
Writes from Quincy, Washington, and says “The longer I stay out in this country the better I like it and the more I want to stay. There are a dozen chances to make it here where there is only one there now, and after a man once gets acquainted here it will eome all right, I think you would do lots better here than there, of course it takes time to start for things go lots different here than in the east, but when you get started things go faster for this is a fast country now, and you have got to hustle to keep up, but if you do keep in pace you have lots of chance for good things.”
