A Couple From Newton County.

A nioe young couple from Newton county were married here in the clerk’s office, at the court house, about nine o’clock on Wei nesday forenoon, by Rev. H. L. Kindig, of Trinity M. E. church. He is 24 years old and superintend ent of a big ranch in northern Newton; and she is 22, and a school teacher. Both were born in Momence, 111., and both now give Lake Village as their place of residence. They were not accompanied by any friends. They took the 9:55 A. M. train for Chicago, directly after the ceremony, and caught some of the surplus rice aimed at the uther bridal pair, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Harmon.
