Mahle-Gangloff Wedding,
There was a quiet wedding in town last, Tuesday, morning, Sept. 4th, at nine o’clock, the parties being Mr. John H. Mahle, of Washington, 111., and Mias Christina Gangloff, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Gangloff, of just east of town, but who for some time past has made her home mostly with a married sister, at Washington. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Thomas Meyers, pastor of St. Augustine’s Catholic church, at his study, in the Gleason residence, on Cullen street. The regular Catholic ring ceremony was used. The only witnesses werethe bride’s sisters, Edith and Laura Ganglofr. A Jbig reception was given to tie bridal couple, that evening, at the Gangloff residence, from 8 to 11 o’clock. They will live at Washington, 111., where the groom has employment as a railroader.
