Another Young Man Browned At Shelby.

Htmis.Dd Time*: John J. Roberts, aged 21, of Chicago, was drowned in the Kankakee river at Shelby, Sunday night. His body was not found until Monday forenoon. Roberts and a friend were in a row boat where he became over balanced and fell into the water from the rear of the boat The Newton county coroner was notified and after the inquest, his verdict was “accidental drowning.” The remains were sent to Chicago, accompanied by the young man’s father, Lewis Roberts and a brother who had been notified of "The accident.
