Death of Mrs. George Lambert.

Mrs, Lizzie Lambert, wife of George W. Lambert, died last Fri day morning, August 31st, at her home in Barkley Tp. about a mile east of Gifford, where she and her family resided with Mr. Lambert’s mother. The cause of her- death was tuberculosis of the lungs, and her sickness of several months’ duration., She was married Sept. Bth, 1898, and her husband survives her, and three young children. Her father, Mr. Hancock, who now lives at Kersey, will be remembered as the greatly afflicted man who last year had his remaining legamputated, because of a diseased condition resulting from heart disease, the other leg having been removed before. The deceased was only about 25 years old. Her funeral was held at Independence, in Gillam township.
