Railroad Progress.

The directors and promoters of the proposed electric railroad, the Indianapolis, Lafayette & Chicago met in Remington, - Saturday to talk over ways and means and report progress. C. W. Coen represented this part of the county. Everything looks well, and it is reported that capitalists have already expressed a readiness to furnish the needed money. South of Remington the right of way and Sime of the grading has been sec ired. All north from that point is also very promising. Mr. Infield and party intend going over another possible route north of the Kankakee in a few days which will take in Lowell, and leave out Hebron. This loute would touch the east side of Cedar Lake, and be a very direct route.
