Can Find No Trace Of Cissel.

Laporte, Ind., Aug. 24.—The Pension Department at Washington has advised the family of the late Dr. J H. Cissel that all efforts to find Ernest Cissel, son of the dead clergyman, has proved futile and he is now mourned as dead. Some friends of Cissel believe that he has gone to the Philippines in search of buried treasures which he is alleged to have acquired while a soldier in the Spanish-American war. Dr. Cissel, who was widely known as an M. E. clergyman, died after his disappearance and the mother is experiencing all the tortures of a broken heart.
