Mrs. Leatherock’s Condition.

County Treasurer 8 R. Nichols arrived home from Oklahoma this, Saturday, morning. His daughter Mrs. Grace Leatherock, received her operation at the hospital at Oklahoma City, Wednesday. It was an extensive operation, requiring an hour and a half for its performance. She passed through it much better than the physicians expected, and seems now to have an excellent prospect for recovery. She went to the hospital several weeks before, but the physicians advised against its performan e, owing to its great danger, in her generally weakened condition, and she gave it up at the time and re turned home. Her sufferings were so great, however, that she insisted on taking the chances of having it performed rather than to contin’ a to endure the constant pain. . .. Except for the matter of Mrs. Leatherock’s health, the family aie well situated in Oklahoma, being in a good country a..d Dr. Leatherock having a very large and profitable practice.
