Crusade Against Signs.

Farmers residing near Niles, Mich., held a meeting recently and decided to inaugurate a crusade against the tree and fence advertising, especially the former. They claim that heavy signs are nailed to their fine shade trees wherever they are to’ be found, greatly injuring them. The rural citizens indignant and decided to first tear down every advertisement now oa the farms and if more are put up the guilty parties will be prosecuted.
