Rock Case Settled.
Hawkins & Allman, of the Jordan road contractors, and Sternberg & Son, of the Iroquois ditch, have compromised their differences regarding the rock the road men are using, near Cooney's ice house, and the temporary injunction has been dissolved without a trial. By the terms of the B‘ttlement the road men pay to the ditch men four cents a cubic yard for all the rock they use, and Mr.-Kellner, owner of the land, agrees to make a good dam to hold back the water, by the time the ditch men need it.- ’
