Fertilizer Trade In Indiana.

Indiana, as a state, is using more fertilizer every year, according to the (manufactures and dealers. Twenty-five years ago fertilizers were not used extensively. This year there will be, according to the best estimates, between 175,000 and 200,000 tons used. From year to year the quantity of “bone dust,” as it is often erroneously called, sold in Indiana is increasing, farmers becoming more awake to crop possibilities where care is taken to give to the soil those elements which are needed, in varying proportions, by all plant life.
