Canadian Government After Kellogg Also.
It is now stated that the Canadian government, recognizing the harm wrought ,to its interests by such frauds as the one U. B. Kellogg is charged with, is preparing to take a hand in his prosecu tion at Lafayette, and the statement is made that it has secret service men now at work tracing down the alleged company with which Kellogg claimed to be doing business. They are working in St. Paul and also in Winnipeg, Canada, and will establish through the postoffice department, whether or not Kellogg wasalone in promotiag his land schemes. At the same time it is the intention to get the information in such shape that it can be used in the com’ng trial, as it is said that nothing can be found that points to the existence of the Northwestern Land and Immigration company.
