Death Results From A Runaway.
The little village of Dunnville, in the northeast part of Jasper connty, was the scene of an accident on Thursday of last week, which resulted in the death of the victim, three days later. Wm. Jones, an old resident of that vicinity, was helping unload some hay from a wagon into Brett’s livery stable, when the team ran away. Mr. Jones was thrown against a buggy shed and received such severe external and internal injuries as to cause his death, at the home of his nephew, L. B. Collins. He was 65 years, 5 months and 15 days old, and had lived in that vicinity for nearly 45 years, for the most part in the southeast part of Kankakee township, bat for a number of years in Dunnville. He was never married and lived by himself. He was greatly esteemed by all for his kindly disposition, and especially so by the children and yonng people, to home he was universally “Uncle Billy.” His funeral was held Sunday by Rev. Ballou, and interment made in San Pierre cemetery.
