Change The Name of McCoy Avenue.

There has long been eonside r able talk here of the' advisability ol changing the name of that fine re sidence street od the west side named McCoy avenue to some other more satisfactory name. The reasons for such a change are now specially obvious, and the movement for the change is taking definite shape. The name should have been Milroy avenue in the first place, Tiad TioT the spirit of toadyism been stronger than the spirit of patriotism. Now is the proper time to make the correction, and there is a movement amovg the old soldiers to that end. The street runs past the longest side of the old Milroy homestead grounds, now Milroy Park, and that is the name it should bear. Let the name of Northern Indiana’s greatest soldiers be so honored. Prooably a petition for thechange will come before the city council at their next meeting to rename the 6treet Milroy Avenue.
