Wolcott’s New Officers Will Hold.

In the Wolcott election cases Judge Vinton Wednesday at Monticello announced his finding in favor of the officers elected at the town election held Nov. 7, 1905. He holds that the election board that was selected by the bystanders and acted in the election was legally organized, for the reason that Mr. Geiger, who had been appointed inspector by the old town board had no authority under such appointment since no certificate of |the election of the old town board appointing Geiger inspector had been filed with the county clerk, aud for the further reason that C. W. Bidwell, who was selected by the bystanders aud acted ns inspector, was town-hip trustee and exofficio inspector of all elections in the town wheiehe residtd It is probable that the case will be appealed.
