The Sunday School Tour.

Barkley Township., This fine institute w.is held at Barkley M: E. church, Feb. *27. One of the public sea jjls came in a body. Great interest was taken in all tho work. They decided to form a Teacher-Training class The township president is Mrs. Jj A. Randle. Vice-I’res. Mrs. W. A. Jordan, Sec Treas. Mrs. R. H. Eib. The ottering was $2. sis. Marion Township., An excellent audience assembled in the Rensselaer M. E. church for their meeting on Feb. 28. Mr. Goller gave an illustrated Bible lesson and presented plans for the training of Sunday School teachers. Then followed an interesting Round - Table conference. Very helpfnl talks were then giveh by Mr. Win Day and Prof. L. H. Hamilton. At the children's meeting the church was well filled. At the evening session Mr. Goller gave an address on “The Organized Sunday School work. The offering ■was 84.24. The president is John Rush, Vice Pres. Mrs. A. P. Bur to I.

Newton Township. This meeting was planned for Vaughn's church Mar. 1. No meeting of any kind had been held in this church since Christmas. The attendance was small but good interest was taken. The offering was 81.43.

Union Township. Ou a very rainy day at Fair Oaks a few people gathered for the afternoon. All the public .‘■chool cune at 3:30. Good interest was taken. The president has moved away, Vice pres. B. D. Cotner - :v ,. Keener Township. In interest and enthusiasm thiwas one of the best mi etings of the Tour, held at DeMotte M. E. church March 3 Here is held one of the most up to date Suixlay Schools of the county, due largely to the efforts of the.Bupt. Mrs. Mary Spencer who is also township president. The vice president is Richard Haan, secietary Fannie Crowell. Treasurer John Haan. The offering was $1.71.

Win at field. The largest, meeting of the Ton: was that held at Wheatfield M. E. church on March ;. Great interest was taken in every part oi the pro gratu. The offerings were $10.94. The president is S. D.Clark, vice president Mrs. L II Scott. Secretary Eugene Allen Treasurer Henry Hunsicker. The same program was carried out in. Walker and Kankakee townships. Member Tour Party. Appreciation. This opportunity is gladly em b-aced to express my hearty appreciation for the very kind cooperation given me in all Jasper county. A more faithful baud of township presidents I have not seen in all the twenty seven counties, in which I have conducted Tours. Very gratefully yours.
