Death of Mrs. D. C. Hopkins.

Mrs. Lovica Hopkins, wife of D. C. or Clint Hopkins, and one of Rensselaer’s best known old mothers, died about noon Thursday, March Ist, at the home of her son Reete, in Huntington county, where she and her husband had been staying during the winter. She has been in poor health for quite a long time, and has been thought at death’s door on several previous occasions. Her age was nearly 81 years. The body arriveed here at 6.31 Fri. evening, and the funeral was held Saturday, at 10.30 a. m. at the Church of God, by Rev. D. T. Halstead. Interment was in Weston cemetery.
