More Interurban Railroads.

The biggest interurban railroad scheme yet is one reported from Chicago. According to this a whole lot of lines already built, and a still larger lot that are soon to be, are to all come together at Blue Island, 111. From they run four or five miles as a surface road, and then strike the line of the Rock Island and Lake Shore Roads, and al»ove the already elevated tracks of those companies, will have a still more elevated traca ten miles long, Clear into the heart of Chicago, using the big union depot on Van Buren street. One of the many branch, lines to strike off from Blue Island, is to go to Lafayette, this state, and if it does, and on anything like a direct line, it can not well avoid hitting Rensselaer. Our city being practically on a direct line between Blue Island and Lafayette. The scheme is talked of as though it were sure of being carried out.
