A School-Boy’s Death.
Wiley Allen, second son of Mr. aud Mrs. G. D. Norman, commonly known as Doss Norman, died Friday, March 2nd, at 7.30 p. m , at his father’s home just north of Rensselaer, on the north gravel road. His sickness was t nsilitis, complicated with spasmodic croup. He had been ailing for two weeks, but was severely sick only two days. He would have been ten years old had he lived until the 13th of this present month. He was a pupil in the 4th grade of our city schools, and a member of the Christain Church Sunday school. He leaves a brother of 11 and another of seven years, a step-sister of his own age and a baby halfsister. The funeral was held Monday, at 11 o’clock a. m., at Trinity M. E. church, by Rev. Q. H. Clark, pastor of the Christian church. Interment was made in Weston cemetery.
