A Big Sale Out Northwest.

Another unusually big sale was that of Wm. Leek, west of Surrey, and pretty well over towards the Newton county line. It toox place last Tuesday, and though the weather was rainy by spells it did not prevent a big crowd being present nor dampen their ardor for buying- Everything sold readily at good prices, but the horses were the star sellers at this sale, with the hogs close after them. Three big brood mares sold for $215, $202, and $196 respectively. A two year old coming three brought $145, and yearling colts brought as high as SIOO. The entire sale amounted to a little over $2,400.
