At the Ellis Opera House Monday night the Geo. P. Bent branch house in Rensselaer, had one of their Crown pianos on exhibition and an Angel us Piano Player was demonstrated. The music rendered was very entertaining, the»piano being especially sweet toned and the Angelas sounding every note with absolute correctness. Dur ing the course of the evening, between the acts, the mandolin, harp, autoharp zither and guitar were imitated and the audience was well pleased. In establishing their branch music store here the George P. Bent Co. have spared no cost whatever, and last night local agent Demmitt, special agent Block of Chicago, and the Angelas demonstrator were all here. The company luis rented A. Leopold’s room across the street frbm the opera house, and will today receive their first shipment of pianos. They are advertising extensively and propose to cut pianos prices to the lo west notch. Mr. Dem mitt will be pleased to exhibit these instruments and to demonstrate the Angelas and other mechanical players to all callers, whether prospective purchasers or not The reputation of Geo. P. Bent for reliability should be sufficient guarantee of the* dependence that can be placed in any of his repre sentations, and persons who think of buying pianos had better get them during the continuance of this sale, :
