County Commissioners.
The commissioners adjourned Wednesday after having allowed a number of claims and heard reports and petitions in a number of ditch cases. In the matter of the proposed Marion tp., stone road, the engineer and viewers filed an incomplete report. No damages are reported and the cause was continued, The following inspectors for the stone road in Carpenter, Jordan and Marion were appointed. For Carpenter J. D. Allman and J. J. Porter. For Marion Wm. Green field, A. Woodworth and J. A. Burnham. A number of petitions for ditches and highways were continued, aud a petition for the deepening and widening of the O’Meara ditch was filed by A. K. Yeoman, etal.
