Revisit Jasper County.
M. D. Kiehardson, of Lake City Mich., and L. O. Richardson, of Cambridge* Neb., arrived here last week for a short visit with their brother T. J. Richardson, and sister Mrs. Elizabeth Kolb, at Valma, Barkley tp. Both are former residents of Jasper county, their father having located in Walker township in 1857, where L. O. Richardson Was born. Both left here in I§§B, and have been but infrequent visitors back [since that time. This, in fact, was the first time the three brothers and one sister had been together for more than 25 years. Another brother in Kansas was unable to be here at this time. M. D. Richardson is now almost 60 years of age, and was one of the youngest soldiers Jasper county turned out, having enlisted at the age of 16 years in Co. K of the 48th Indiana regiment. This company was enlisted in Jasper county and Mordecai Chilcote was its captain. Since the close of the war Mr. Richardson has served as captain of the guard at Lancing, the Michigan state prison, and also as inspector of the G. A. R., Department ot Miohigau. He is now retired, and while an unusually large and strong man in appearance has not lx*en having very good health. L. O. Richardson is ranching in Nebraska, and his sifter, Mrs. Kolb, today accompanied him there on hiß return home, in the hope that the change of climate will prove beneficial to her health.
