Remington Rural Routers Resign.

Three of the four rural route couriers at Remington have resighed, namely. Ike and Jim Peck and Newton Beale, and pending the selection of Teghlar carriere which will be made after the result of the examination to be held on Feb. 12, is announced, the following parties are carrying the rural mail there. Will Puckett, Ed Sutherland and John Woods. Insufficient pay is assigned as the reason for the resignations. Ike Peck was the first carrier out of Remington and he and Begle will both work for Charles Peck in his big Remington store. Jim Peck will work in his brother Frank’s drug store. All three of the resigning carriers had given rural route patrons the very best service, and it will be difficult to supply equally painstaking carriers.
