Telephone Company Sells Remington Branch.
The Remington Telephone Co. closed a deal this week with the Jasper Co. Telephone Co. whereby they have bought out the latter’s exchange at this place and are to get possession Feb. Ist. They will retain the Bell phones, but consolidate the two exchanges and continue the Bell system of Toll lines as well as the Independent. This will mean quite a saving to the business men, and should result in a better service ail around —Remington Press. We were fortunate enough to secure the agency of the old reliable “Sleepy Eye” flour and have received our first car. The G. E. Murray Co.
