Stubbs Again a Candidate.

Joseph H. Stubbs, at present chie of the Indiana bureau of statistics, has announced his candidacy fora second term, subject to the nominating convention that will meet some time in April. A s Mr. Stubbs’ announcement was expect ed, the only interest lies in the fact that it was formal in its nature, coming from Stuhbs himself. So far there is no opposition to Stubbs for this office, as it is cus tomary for one man to hold it for two terms, the term being duly two years. It is not expected, there fore, that there will be any opposition to Stubbs, who is now filling his first term as statistician.
