Recommend Consolidation.

The committees appointed by the State Federation of Woman's Clnbs and the Indiana Union of tiiterary Clubs met in joint session at Indi anapolis last Thursday to consider the proposition to unite the two bodies, which has been pending for sometime. The conference recomm nded that the two organizations be consolidated under the name, - The Indiana State Union of Feder ated Clnbs. They also recommend that if the next annual convention of the two bodies ratify the action, each body shall appoint a commit tee of 25 members to unite in the . election of officers of the cousolidat ed organization. Should the recommendation of the joint confer ence fail of ratification, then each body will elect its own offioers dbd continue the separated org.tui/n tjous as at present
