Glenn Wishard, of our city, now a member of the Junior class of Northwestern University, where he is studying for the ministry, is a mighty debater. The fact that he had been chosen a member of the team to represent his institution io the Cential Debating League, having already been mentioned. There are three in the team, and they met the-University of Minnesota team at Minneapolis, last Friday night. Ex Gov. Van Sant presided and three judges of the I >wa Supreme court acted as judges. GleDn’s team won the decision,, and that pats them in the running for the final contest of the League, for the champsonship.
