Prominent Mt Ayr Man Arrested.

Milo Miller, a well known and well connected resident of Mt Ayr, was in town Thursday afternoon, and finally hired a team and driver at a livery stable and went back to Mt Ayr, but with the expressed intention of coming back and taking one. of the night trains here. He had been gone but a short time when a request came from Sheriff Stoner, of Newton county to' Sheriff O’Conner to arrest and hold him on a charge of embezzlement. Sheriff Stoner was informed that Miller had gone back to Mt Ayr and late at night he fonnd and arrested him at a place near Morocco. It is understood that the charge he is arrested on is connected with the money of the Odd Fellows’ lodge ot Mt, Ayr, which h e is alleged to have got hold oi and not accounted for.
