Sneak Thief at Makeever House.

Wednesday evening a stranger got off the 6:32 train and registered at the Makeever House as J. B. Barnes, of Chicago. He ate his supper, and then went at once to the room that had been assigned him. About a half hour later he came down stairs, went out the j back way, and that was the last seen of him here. Next morning, H. F. Parker, the photographer, who hoards at the j hotel, missed hissso diamond stud, an opal ring, stars pin, and some other ai tides. The chambermaid missed $4.43 in money. Mr. Brenner, the land lord offers , $25 and Mr. Parker a like sum for j the arrest of the thief.
