Death of Alfred Crisler.
W. L. Wishard went to Big Rapids, Mich., today, to attend the funeral. Wednesday, of his wife’s father, Alfred Crisler, whose death occurred at that place Monday morning, as a result of a paralytic stroke, as previously mentioned in this paper. His age was some 78 years. He moved to Big Rapids about 18 months ago but previous to that time lived on a farm near Mt. Ayr for about 30 years. Besides the daughter living here, Mrs. Mina Wishard, he leaves a son Robert, at Rose! awn and another daughter at Big Rapids. His aged widow also survives him, but is herself in a very critical condition, from a sickness which began long prior to the attack which caused her husband’s death. His home previous to locating near Mfc. Ayr was in Bartholomew county, this state. He leaves numerous more distant relatives than those above mentioned, among whom is Mrs, Benj. Harris, of our city, who is a niece.
