Death of Abe Campbell.

Abe Campbell, a farmer resident of Rensselaer for a number of years, died Tuesday at midnight, at Parr. He had been in poor health for a long time and very recently, in company with his older brother, William, he went to Cairo, 111., in hopes to benefit his condition. The hope was not realized, however, aid at his desire, they returned to t lis county, last week, arriving last Thursday. They want to Parr, where they have relatives and his death took place as stated. His age was about 73 years, aud he was never married. He was a sildier in the civil war and the old soldiers took charge of the funeral, which was held this, Thursday forenoon, at Parr, aud interment made in Prater cemetery. A considerable number of the comrades from Rensselaer attending. Before coming to Rensselaer, when he lived with his brother, above mentioned, they lived in the vicinity of Blackford for many years, and he has since lived in Ohio, and still more recently, in the vicinity of Lee.
