First Wedding For 1906,

Remington not only seored the first marriage license in the county for 1906, but also the first wedding. The first lioense was for the Bellows Wilson wedding, which took place today; aand the first wedding took place Tuesday afternoon, in the clerk’s office, at the court house. The parties were a young couple from Remington, or that immediate vicinity. Namely, Mr. William E. Glosser, and Miss Mattie Harris. He is a son of Joseph Glosser and she a daughter of Thomas Harris. The ceremony was performed by G- H. Clarke, pastor of Rensselaer Christian church. Only one friend accompanied them at the wedding.
