ANOTHER FIRE IN WALKER
Quite an unfortunate fire oecured in Walker townghip^Jfriday when a good resideiice was burned, and which was the third in that towtaship within the last two ot three weeks. This last fire was much the worst of the three, iu the extent of loss resulting. The burned building was the residence of Mrs. Mary M. Kroeger, ' mother of the Middleea np brothers and was situated about half a mile south of Knimau. | The fire took place between six and seven o’clock in the evening, and was breaking through the roof .when discovered. It had made such headway that comparatively little of the household goods could be saved. The house was about the best farm dwelling iu that region, and valued at $1,500, with only SSOO
insurance, which was in the Bruner & Ham agency. The origin of the fire is not known, but probably from its location, started near a chimney.
